Quick signs Agreement with free-hotspot.com to provide Free Wi-Fi to Customers
Restaurants in the Belgium to offer customers free, fast and easy wireless Internet access
Dublin, Ireland and Brussels, Belgium – 01 June, 2009 – Anacapa Holdings, Ltd. announced today that it has signed a master agreement with S.A. Quick Restaurants of Belgium, under which Anacapa will install its “free-hotspot.com” Wi-Fi solution in all Quick locations in Belgium. The agreement follows a similar contract signed earlier this year with Quick Luxembourg, and a master agreement with Quick France, signed in 2008.
Visitors to Quick locations will now be able to access the Internet at no cost when they are in a restaurant. The free-hotspot.com system is especially easy to use for those with iPhones, iPod, Blackberrys and other mobile devices, as users can log on to the Internet with a single click and without having to enter email address, phone number, passwords or other personal information.
Joe Brunoli. Managing Director of free-hotspot.com, explained the unique aspects of the Wi-Fi system that Quick has adopted. “Our service not only provides free Internet access for customers,” he said, “it also offers Quick a way to communicate and market to their customers using the Wi-Fi system.” The importance of consistency in the market also played a role in the deal: “we are pleased that we will now have our system in all three Quick estates – France Luxembourg, and now Belgium. This will ensure that Quick customers will enjoy not only the same quality food when they go into a Quick restaurant – they will also enjoy the same great Wi-Fi service,” he added.
The free-hotspot.com Wi-Fi service will be deployed over the coming year in all Quick company restaurants as well as participating franchisee locations.
